The usage and analytics dashboard gives team admins detailed reports on their team's licenses, translated characters, improved characters, and when they last used DeepL Pro.
Usage data for DeepL Pro Translator, DeepL Write, and DeepL Voice for Meeting plans are displayed in the Analytics tab in the team admins account. This tab is only visible to team admins and not to individual team members.
To check your team's usage, do the following:
- Go to the Analytics tab in your admin account
- Select the subscription for which you want to view your team's usage
Available data
The data visible depends on the product you select (Translator, Write, or Voice). See below a description of available data points.

| Licenses assigned | Number of licenses that are currently assigned to users |
| License utilization | Percentage of licenses that are currently assigned to users, e.g., 100% means that all purchased licenses are assigned to users |
| Total users | Number of active and inactive users currently assigned a license |
| Active users | Number of users that used DeepL Pro in the last 30 days |
| Active user rate | Percentage of users that used DeepL Pro in the last 30 days, e.g., 100% means that all users with an assigned license have used DeepL Translator or Write |
| Used characters per billing period |
Only available for DeepL for Enterprise plans.
Number of characters translated or improved by all team members during a billing period. |
| Team members with highest usage |
Lists the top team members with the most characters translated or improved over the past three months. To see the entire team's usage data for further filtering and sorting, download the team member usage report. This section is only visible if Usage data of individual team members has been enabled for all team admins under Settings.

You can filter the usage information by date range (30 days, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months) and choose the time frame (daily, weekly, or monthly). The data in these dashboards is anonymized and does not reveal individual team member usage. Usage is broken down into the following types:

Lists the top team licenses that were used the most to invite the DeepL Voice bot over the past three months. To see the entire team's usage data for further filtering and sorting, download the team member usage report. This section is only visible if Usage data of individual team members has been enabled for all team admins under Settings.

Export team member usage reports
Team admins can export a team member usage report as a CSV file and have it sent via email.
- Go to the Analytics tab in your account

Optional: Under Subscription, select the subscription for which you want to download the usage report.
The usage in the report is displayed based on the selected subscription. - Select a Date range for the usage report
- Select a Time frame on how the data is displayed in the usage report within the date range. Depending on the selected Date range, you can select from the following:
- Daily: Daily usage for each team member within the selected date range
- Weekly: Weekly usage for each team member within the selected date range
- Monthly: Monthly usage for each team member within the selected date range
- Aggregated: All usage for each team member within the selected date range
- Click Export team member usage report
If the option to export a usage report has been previously disabled by you or another admin, you need to first enable it in the Settings tab - Confirm that the report will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws in your country
- Click Export report.
- You will see a message saying that your export has been requested. Check your email inbox, it might take a few minutes for the email to arrive.
- Click the download link in the email

This data is available to help team admins manage licenses and understand how their team uses DeepL. Individual metrics may not be a reliable measure of productivity.
