I am a team admin. How can I find detailed reporting about my team’s DeepL usage?
If you are a team admin, you can find detailed reports on your team’s licenses, translated characters, and sessions.
To find this information, go to the Analytics tab in your account. Please note that this tab is only visible to team admins and not to individual team members.
In this tab, you will find your team’s usage dashboard with the following information:
- An overview of your licenses and users (both active and inactive)
- Characters translated by team and Distribution of characters translated
- Documents translated by team and Distribution of documents translated
You can filter the usage information by date range (30 days, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months) and choose the time frame (daily, weekly, or monthly). Please note that the data in these dashboards is anonymized and does not detail individual team members’ usage.
Downloading team member usage reports
It is possible for team admins to download a team member usage report as a CSV file. This report contains the following information:
- Team member’s email address
- Last time the team member was active
- Characters translated
- Documents translated
When you download the report, you can select a date range for the information (7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months) or select a custom date range with a start and end date. You can also select the time frame you wish the report to be displayed in (daily, weekly, monthly, or aggregated for the selected date range).
Before you can download the team member usage report, you will be asked to confirm that the report will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws in your country.
This data is available to help team admins manage licenses and understand how their team uses DeepL. Individual metrics may not be a reliable measure of productivity.
Please note: Due to GDPR compliance, the ability to download team member usage reports is unavailable by default for countries within the EU or UK. If you are a team admin in those countries and wish to access the reports, you will need to contact DeepL Support or your Customer Success Manager first.
