It is possible to have more than one team or customization admin per team. Read more about the differences between team and customization admin in this article. There can be more than one admin and all admins have the same rights. You can set up team admins so that they don't use a license. For more information, see this article. Customization admins always need a license.
Assign admin rights
As a team admin, you can assign admin rights to another member of your team. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in with your DeepL account and go to the Users tab
- Search for the team member you'd like to assign as admin
- Next to the member's name, click the
icon
- Click Grant admin access
Or
Click Grant customization admin access - A new window will open, asking you to confirm your decision
- Click Assign admin
The role displayed in the Users tab will change to Admin or Customization admin.
If the new admin was using single sign-on (SSO) before being granted admin rights, they will be notified of their new role via email. Their current session will be terminated and they will receive an email asking them to reset their password. Once this password has been reset, the admin can log in with their email address and the new password.

As a team admin, you can revoke someone's admin rights by following these steps:
- Log in with your DeepL account and go to the Users tab

icon
- Click Revoke admin access
Or
