With a team subscription, each user in the team, including admins and team members, needs a license and unique login credentials. Team members of a team using SSO can log in via their identity service provider and don't need separate DeepL login credentials.
Team members
Team members are part of an active DeepL subscription. They can benefit from all advantages of their team's DeepL subscription.
In their account team members can do the following:
- View and change their login credentials
- Access and create their Authentication Key for CAT tool plug-ins (only for DeepL Pro Advanced/Ultimate)
- Monitor their own usage in terms of documents translated
Team admins
Team admins have additional rights. In addition to the rights listed for team members, they can do the following:
- Upgrade or downgrade to a different plan
- Change the billing period between monthly and annual
- Cancel the subscription
- Access payment details, billing information, and invoices
- Access team's usage dashboard to view the number of translated characters and documents (via the Analytics tab in the admin's account)
- Invite, deactivate, or remove team members
- Assign or revoke admin access
- Set document translation limits for team members
- Customization options (e.g., upload a new logo to replace the DeepL logo)
A team subscription can have more than one team admin. Learn more about how to grant admin rights to a team member in this article.
Teams admins can't leave a team on their own. To leave the team, another team admin can either remove them from the team or revoke their admin rights. The team admin will then become a team member and is able to leave the team at anytime.
