Content is translated from English using DeepL Pro.
Required plan: DeepL Pro
Team members may be part of a team but not have a license for a specific product. Team admins can manage access to the free versions of DeepL Translator and Write for those users who are logged in to the team subscription.
There are also two ways to manage access to DeepL for users who are not logged in:
- Network access restriction: To prevent anonymous access and to require users to log in, see this article for more information.
- Domain capture: To capture users during sign up and to control who in your organization can sign up, create a DeepL account, and join an existing team, see this article for more information.
Enable or disable access to the free version of DeepL
When enabling free access, DeepL doesn’t provide the same data protection as for DeepL Pro.
If you are a team admin, you can enable or disable access to the free version of DeepL for users that don’t have a license. On default, free access is enabled.
- Go to the Settings tab in your account, scroll down to the Security section
- Click the toggle to enable or disable access to DeepL Write (free version) and/or DeepL Translator (free version)
