For DeepL Pro Advanced and Ultimate subscribers
If you subscribe to DeepL Pro Advanced or Ultimate for teams, you can share glossaries with your team with just a few clicks. This feature is currently available on the web translator and in the desktop apps.
Before sharing a glossary, please make sure that you've manually created or uploaded a glossary. To share your glossary, please do the following:
- Click on the Glossary button in the top-right corner of the translation area
- Click on Manage glossaries
- Select a glossary which you'd like to share with your team
- Click on the Share with team toggle switch in the top-right corner of the glossary window
Once your glossary is shared with your team members, the switch will be displayed in green. Your team members will be notified about the shared glossary the next time they use DeepL Pro. They also have the option to download the shared glossary.
You can edit your shared glossary at any time by doing the following:
- Click on the Glossary button
- Click on Manage glossaries
- Select a glossary which you'd like to edit
Once you've edited your glossary, the changes will be also visible for all your team members.
Please note that only the owner of the shared glossary can edit and delete it. You will see a pen icon displayed next to all glossaries which you can edit in your account.
To stop sharing your glossary, click on the Share with team toggle switch again. When disabled, the switch will be displayed in grey. Your glossary will be removed for all your team members.
If the owner of the shared glossary leaves the team, the ownership of the shared glossary will be assigned to the team administrator, who will be able to edit, delete, or stop sharing this glossary.
You can also share your glossary with any other user who is subscribed to DeepL Advanced or Ultimate (even if they aren't part of your team). To do so, please download your glossary and send it to another DeepL Pro Advanced or Ultimate subscriber, who will be able to upload your glossary to their DeepL account for further use.
