Click on the Download button located at the top of the glossary window and save the file. Your current glossary will be downloaded as a CSV file (comma-separated) for further use.
The downloaded glossary will include your glossary entries as well as the language pair labels in the following order: the term in the source language, the term in the target language, the source language label, the target language label (e.g., translate,traducir,EN,ES).
If your glossary in DeepL Pro includes several language pairs (e.g., English into Spanish and English into French), the downloaded file will list your glossary entries in several language pairs as well. Here is an example:
If you want to use your downloaded glossary with software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), we recommend you importing your glossary (and not just opening the file with a double-click). For example, you can import your data to Microsoft Excel in one of the following ways depending on your version:
- File -> Open
- File -> Import -> CSV file
- Data -> Get data -> From text
When importing the data, please follow the steps suggested in the wizard: your data is delimited, the file origin is Unicode (UTF-8), set Comma as a delimiter.Please keep in mind that you can also upload the downloaded glossary if you want to use it again on DeepL Pro.
