DeepL's Expert Editor allows you to edit stored files after the translation.
Document owners can edit the contents of their files after the translation as long as they are stored. They also have the option to assign another user to review the translated file.
Both document owners and reviewers can access the contents of the translated file, make changes, or leave comments.
The Expert Editor splits the file into segments and shows the original and translated text side by side. For each segment, you can see which customization assets (e.g., glossaries or translation memories) DeepL applied during translation..

If a translation memory was applied for the file translation, all edits made within the Expert Editor will be captured in the translation memory as well.

Not all file formats offered by DeepL are supported for editing via the Expert Editor. For some file formats, you can edit the stored file, but there is no preview option available.
