AI tools for translations like DeepL Translator provide generally high translation quality, but mistakes might still happen.
As part of DeepL's translation flow features, files can be reviewed and edited before downloading them. You can assign a review to anyone within your organization.
The reviewer will gain access to the translated file and can review and make changes to the translated file via DeepL's Expert Editor.
The owner of the translated file (the person who started the file translation or translation flow) can still access the translation and leave comments. They can't edit the translation as long as it is in review.

Access to review jobs
If a review has been assigned to you, you will receive an email and a notification on the DeepL website. Click the link in the mail to access the translated file, you are asked to review.
You can view all open and completed review request on the Reviews page on the DeepL website.
On the page, you can click on a file to open it directly within the Expert Editor.
If the review is part of a project and you have access to this project, you will also find the project linked there.
Supported platforms
Reviewing file translations is only available on the DeepL website. It is not supported for file translations in the desktop apps.
A review can be triggered as part of a translation flow as well. Translation flows are supported in the DeepL browser extensions and via the DeepL for Adobe Experience Manager integration.
The review itself takes place in the Expert Editor on the DeepL website though.
