With the DeepL for Outlook add-in, you can translate your incoming emails along with attached files - directly within Microsoft Outlook.
With the add-in's file translation feature, you can easily translate, download, or forward attached files.

Translate attached files
- In Outlook click the DeepL icon
in the email toolbar
- Select the attached files you would like to translate
- Optional: Choose a source language
- Choose a target language
- Click Translate attachments
You can now either download the attached files locally or forward them in a new email.
To download the translated files:
- Click the Download
button
All files will be downloaded automatically to your selected folder.
To forward the files:
- Click the Forward button
A new email will open and all of your translated files will be attached automatically.
Hover over the analytics icon
to check the number of available file translations and your current usage.
Limitations
The following features are not available for file translation within the DeepL for Outlook add-in:
It is not possible to translate a single file into multiple languages
at
once within the add-in. To translate your file into multiple languages, go
the
DeepL website
or use the DeepL desktop apps.
