Manage blocked users
Users who have been prevented from signing up can be found under the Users tab in your DeepL admin account.
- Go to the Non-team members tab, to view a list of all users who have been blocked from signing up or who are not yet part of the team
- To filter for blocked users, select Blocked under Status
- Select the users you want to add to your team, then click Add to team under Bulk actions, or click on the
menu next to the user.
An email invitation will be sent to the user, who then will appear in the Team members tab with the status Invited. - Go to the Team members tab and add the users to a group
If SSO is enabled for your team, you will only see the users who were blocked from signing up. To add them to your team, you must add them to your DeepL application and group in your identity provider.
Manage users with an existing free account
When a domain is activated, DeepL scans for existing free accounts with email addresses that match the verified domains. These discovered users appear in the Non-team members tab alongside users who were blocked from signing up.
Discovered users are not automatically restricted. Their free accounts remain fully functional until an admin takes action. Unlike new sign-ups, where a default action is applied automatically, each discovered user must be acted on manually.
- Go to the tab Non-team members, to view a list of all users who have been blocked from signing up or who are not yet part of the team
- To filter for discovered users with free accounts, select Not in team under Status
- Select the discovered users, then click Bulk actions to which you want to apply one of the following actions or use the
menu next to the user
- Go to the Team members tab and add the users to a group
Admins can apply the following actions:
- Add to team: This converts the account into a team member account immediately. Users appear in the Team members tab.
- Block: Prevents the user from accessing DeepL with their company email address. Their account is suspended immediately.
- Unblock: Reverses a block. The user can then access DeepL with their company email address again.
Identify users invited by domain capture
- Go to the Users tab in your DeepL admin account
- In the Team members tab, select Added via and Domain capture
All users automatically invited via domain capture will be displayed

You can export a list of all users that were invited via domain capture.
