What payment methods are offered?
We accept the following payment methods depending on your subscription plan:

We accept euros (EUR, €), Japanese yen (JPY, ¥), U.S. dollars (USD, $), and Canadian dollars (CAD, $). The currency you are billed in depends on your billing country. To learn more about billing currencies, please read this article.
Credit or debit card
We accept payment by credit or debit card for all DeepL Pro subscription plans.
We can process payments from the following major card issuers:
- American Express
- Cartes Bancaires
- Diners Club
SEPA Direct Debit
SEPA Direct Debit is available for all DeepL Pro plans for individuals and teams.
You can pay by SEPA Direct Debit if you are based in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). We offer this payment option only to bank accounts held in EUR*.
If you wish to pay via SEPA Direct Debit and fulfill the requirements, but you aren't offered this payment option during your checkout process, please contact DeepL Support.
Note: Payment by SEPA Direct Debit isn't available for the DeepL API Pro plan. For this plan, we only accept payment by credit or debit card. However, for large-scale and long-term API projects, we can offer payment by bank transfer. Please contact our Sales team to learn more.
*Only exception to this rule: Switzerland and Liechtenstein
You can pay by bank transfer only if you meet the following conditions:
- You are a business customer
- You'd like to purchase an annual DeepL Pro subscription
- The invoice amount is equal to or greater than a certain value (thresholds may vary by country)
If you wish to subscribe to DeepL Pro for individuals or teams and pay by bank transfer, but you aren't offered this payment option during your checkout process and believe you qualify, please contact our Sales team.
