If you are using OneDrive to store your files, you can upload files for file translation directly from your OneDrive storage.
This option is currently available on the web translator for all supported file formats.
Depending on your plan, the available file formats and sizes vary. Learn more about supported file formats and limits here.
To upload a file from OneDrive, do the following:
- Go to the DeepL website and click Translate files
- Click Select from OneDrive

One time action: Sign in with your Microsoft account to connect DeepL to OneDrive
Once connected, you will not need to repeat this step. - Select the files you would like to translate
- Click Select
You will be forwarded to the DeepL file translation. Select one or more target languages and start the translation.
After the translation is done, your translated files will be downloaded locally to your device.
You might be asked to accept permissions to connect your Microsoft account to DeepL. If you are using OneDrive with a business account, you might need to reach out to your Microsoft admin to accept the required permissions.
