Upload whole files with DeepL Translator.
Translating a file is extremely time efficient: All elements of the file, including body text, titles, captions, and even footnotes, will be translated into the language of your choice. The translated file will contain the original formatting, images, and fonts.
Depending on your plan, the available file formats and sizes vary. Learn more about supported file formats and limits here.
DeepL for Enterprise customers also have the option to implement an end-to-end translation workflow for file translation by using DeepL's Translation Flow offering. Learn more about Translation Flows here.

You can upload and translate multiple files in a batch on the web translator and in the desktop apps.
When translating multiple files of different source languages at once, do not specify the source language via the language selector. The selected source language will be applied to all files, even if the languages vary. This could lead to failed file translations or translation errors.
