If you no longer have an active subscription and would like to remove your data from DeepL, you can delete your account. Currently, it's not possible to delete your account if you still have an active subscription.

To delete your account, follow these steps:
- Log into your DeepL account
- Go to the account area
- Click Delete account at the bottom of the page
- Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete account permanently
You can sign up for a new DeepL account at any point.
If you do not see the option Delete account, please contact DeepL Support.
We will delete your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), unless we are still entitled or obligated to store it due to other regulations (in particular due to mandatory storage obligations under commercial and tax law).
