For subscriptions with SSO enabled, a team admin can manage team members' accounts.
Grant user access
- Determine the users who should get access to DeepL.
- Provide those users access through your identity provider for DeepL.
Free up licenses
If the maximum number of users in your team has been reached, you can free up licenses by removing users from your team in your DeepL account. Removed users will no longer count against the team limit, allowing new team members to log in using SSO.
If subscription management by groups is enabled for your team, you can check which users have logged in and used DeepL in the Users tab of your account. For more information, see Manage licenses for team members.
Remove access
- Remove access in your identity provider for DeepL access
- Delete the user in the Team tab or Users tab in your DeepL account so that the user doesn’t continue to occupy a license
Removed users aren't part of the team anymore and don't have DeepL access via your team.
Change group membership
If subscription management by groups is enabled for your team, you can do the following to change the group membership of your team members.
With JIT group sync enabled:
- Remove the user from their current group in your identity provider
- Add the user to the new group in your identity provider
- Ask the user to log out
- On login, the user will be removed and added to the new group on the DeepL side
With JIT group sync disabled:
- Remove the user from their current group in your DeepL account
- Add the user to the new group in your DeepL account
Add multiple users via .csv file
It is possible to add multiple users to your groups at once by uploading a CSV file if you have SSO without JIT group sync enabled. To do so, you must first create a CSV file that contains only the email addresses of the users you want to add to your groups. Then, follow these steps:
- Go to the tab Users in your account
- Click on Add users to groups
- Click on Upload a CSV file (minimum of 40 users)
- Select the CSV file from your computer
- Select the groups to which you want to add all users to from the drop-down menu
- Click on Add users
It might take a moment for the new users to show up in the list. You might have to refresh the page to see them.
