Verify participation in Voice for Meetings

Verify your participation when using Voice for Online Meetings in order to select a language, and to automatically stop receiving translation when you leave a meeting.

During a meeting, look for the verification indicator to check your status:

• means you are verified
• means you are unverified

Get verified automatically

In most cases, you don't need to do anything. DeepL Voice verifies you automatically when you:

• Sign in with Microsoft (desktop app)
• Grant full disk access to the application (Mac)
• Already verified from previously entering a code

Verify manually with an access code

If automatic verification isn't available, you will be prompted to enter your meeting access code to verify manually in the following situations: 

• You select a language other than Auto-detect
• The organization's settings limit translation to verified participants only (admin controlled)

Stop translation

If you choose not to verify, select Disconnect at the top of the meeting view when you leave the meeting to stop receiving meeting translation.
