Required plan: any DeepL Voice for Meetings
plan
DeepL Voice for Meetings translates the audio that each participant's app streams into the meeting. The cleaner that incoming audio is, the more accurate the transcription and translation.
Because the DeepL bot receives each person's audio after their own meeting app has processed it, the most important settings live on each participant's device, not just the host's.

General recommendations (all platforms)
- Use a headset or external microphone rather than built-in laptop speakers and mic.
- Join from a quiet room and speak one at a time; mute when you're not speaking.
- Keep one person per microphone where possible.
- Avoid stacking multiple noise filters, for example, your operating system's voice isolation and an aggressive in-app setting at the same time. Over-filtering can clip quiet syllables and reduce accuracy. Choose one clear layer of noise reduction.
