Download meeting transcript

Download your meeting transcript to easily review, share, and reference important details at any time. 

Choose what to include in your transcript:

• Transcription and translation
  Transcription will show each speaker's original spoken language and translation will show the translation language you have chosen
• Transcription only
  Everyone's speech will be transcribed in the original spoken language, labelled with a language code
• Translation only
  Everyone's speech will be displayed in the translation language you have chosen

If you change the translation language during the meeting, the downloaded transcript will reflect the change. If you join late or leave the meeting, the transcript won’t include any speech that happened while you were absent.

1. Connect a meeting
2. Open the toolbar
3. Click Download transcript
   For recurring meetings, choose between Today only or All transcription history. All transcription history will include all meeting transcripts to meetings you attended and used DeepL Voice.

 

1. Open the DeepL Voice app in Microsoft Teams
2. Go to settings
3. Navigate to translation controls, 
   or 
   Click the shortcut above your meeting transcript
4. Click Download transcript
   For recurring meetings, choose between Today only or All transcription history. All transcription history will include all meeting transcripts to meetings you attended and used DeepL Voice.

 

A .txt file will download automatically and be added to your Downloads folder. 

 

Data storage

When you use DeepL Voice for Meetings in a virtual meeting, the meeting transcript you interact with is stored to your local device. This is to ensure that you can navigate away from DeepL Voice without losing your meeting transcript. 

Your meeting transcript data is not stored by DeepL once the meeting has finished.

To delete this data from your local device, do the following:

You can delete the meeting transcript data displayed in Your meetings by clearing your browser history on your local device.

Microsoft Teams

1. Click more options
2. Select Clear meeting history

Alternatively, you can clear your Microsoft Teams cache to delete the data from your local device.
