Overview
The translation history feature makes it possible for users of the free service and Pro subscribers to have their past translations saved. They can view, edit, and reuse them later. With this feature enabled, your translations will be stored temporarily.
This feature is available on Mac and Windows, as well as on the DeepL mobile apps for iOS and Android. It's not yet available on the web translator.

For users without a DeepL account
We’ll enable the translation history feature for you by default. This means that your translations will be saved automatically every 10 seconds.
The texts in your translation history are stored locally, on your device only. Your translations will be stored for 7 days unless you decide to delete them earlier. DeepL has no access to your translation history.
For users with a DeepL account
To automatically have your translations saved, you first need to confirm that you’d like to enable this feature. When you first open your DeepL desktop app, you'll be asked if you would like to enable this feature. You can also enable this feature in your app's settings.
Once the feature has been enabled, your texts will be saved automatically every 10 seconds. Your translations will be stored for 30 days, if you have a DeepL account without an active subscription. Entries of DeepL Pro users will be stored for 365 days unless you decide to delete them earlier.
