Editing saved translations

Can I edit my saved translations?

Yes, you can edit your saved translations.

For web

To edit your saved translations on web:

1. Click on the bookmark icon at the header of the page
2. A sidebar will open on the right-hand side of the page
3. Select the saved translation you'd like to edit

Your original text and its translation will be placed in the respective areas in the translator.

When you edit the original text or its translation, the saved translation will be updated automatically.

For Windows

To edit your saved translations in the DeepL for Windows app:

1. Click on the Saved tab
2. A sidebar will open on the right-hand side of the app
3. Select the saved translation you'd like to edit

Your original text and its translation will be placed in the respective areas in the translator.

When you edit the original text or its translation, the saved translation will be updated automatically.

For Mac

To edit your saved translations in the DeepL for Mac app:

1. Click on the Saved tab and navigate to Favorites
2. Select the saved translation you'd like to edit

Your original text and its translation will be placed in the respective areas in the translator.

After you edit the original text or its translation, you will need to save it again by clicking the bookmark icon. The edited translation will be added to your Saved translations as a new saved translation.
