The DeepL API is accessible via all DeepL API plans. To sign up or view API plan prices, go to the pricing page. These plans were created specifically for developers and anyone who wants to integrate the DeepL REST API into their own products and platforms. The DeepL API Developer plan allows developers to try out DeepL’s API for free, with a total translation limit of 1,000,000 characters. Once this limit has been reached, it will not reset and you will need to upgrade to the DeepL API Growth plan.
The DeepL API Developer plan does not include access to speech to text translation. If you want to translate more characters or use the speech to text translation feature, you can upgrade to DeepL API Growth at any time.
A subscription to DeepL API Growth offers:
- Maximum data security (your texts are deleted immediately after the translation or improvement)
- DeepL translation quality
- Access to the DeepL API for Write
- Speech to text translation

If you want to translate more characters or use the speech to text translation feature, you can upgrade to DeepL API Growth at any time.

- A billing model based on a monthly fixed price per month + usage-based costs per translated character
