DeepL's Translation Flows include a feature suite consisting of different functionalities that enables an end-to-end translation workflow directly on the DeepL website.
It extends the existing file translation feature with advanced options such as requesting a review of a translated file by another team member.
Customers need to purchase the Translation Flow add-on to access the Translation Flow features. Learn more about the Translation Flow on our Translation flow page.

File translation
Translate whole files while preserving the formatting of the original file.
Store files
Store files securely on our servers to access the texts at a later point and to request a review.

Send translated file for review to another member of your team
In addition, the following features can be used to enhance the effectiveness of the Translation Flow:

An example Translation Flow could include the following steps:
- Upload a file for file translation
- Select a language for translation and set a tone via the formality feature
- Select a glossary, set of style rules and a translation memory
- Activate the Storage
option and Quality evaluation
option
- Start the translation
- Review the potential errors found by the quality evaluation feature
- Request a review by a colleague, who is proficient in the target language to fix the identified translation errors
- (Reviewer) Edit the translated file and update the applied translation memory in the process
- (Owner) Download the translated file
The quality evaluation feature is not available by default as part of the Translation Flow, but it can be added as a beta feature upon request. If you would like to test it, contact your Account Executive or Customer Success Manager.
