Style profiles allow you to easily manage customization features such as glossaries, style rule lists and translation memories and assign them to relevant teams.

Create a new style profile
- Go to Style profiles in the navigation bar of the DeepL website
- Click + New profile
- In the dialog, enter a name for the profile
- Click Create
You can now add one or more existing glossaries, sets of style rules or translation memories to your style profile. You need to have viewing access to all glossaries that you would like to include in the profile.
Edit a style profile
To edit the contents of a style profile, follow these steps:
- Go to Style profiles in the navigation bar of the DeepL website
- Select a profile you would like to edit
- Click the menu icon
- Click Edit
To remove an asset included in the style profile, do the following:
- Navigate to the asset you would like to remove
- Click the menu icon
- Click Remove
Additionally, when adding glossaries to your style profile, you can set a priorization for them. If two or more of the glossaries define the same source term, the translation from the glossary with the higher priority will be applied.
To set a priority for glossaries in a style profile, do the following:
- Go to Style profiles in the navigation bar of the DeepL website
- Select a profile you would like to edit
- Under Glossaries, click the toggle Enable Prioritization
- You can now drag the glossaries into the desired order
Transfer ownership of a style profile
To make someone else from your team the owner of a style profile, follow these steps:
- Go to Style profiles in the navigation bar of the DeepL website
- Select a profile you would like to edit
- Click the menu icon
- Click Transfer ownership
- Enter the email address of the team member you would like to become the new owner. This team member needs to be an admin or a customization admin. This will remove you as the owner.
Delete a style profile
- Go to Style profiles in the navigation bar of the DeepL website
- Select a profile you would like to edit
- Click the menu icon
- Click Delete
- Click Yes, delete to confirm
