The style rules feature allows you to select a set of rules to apply when translating or improving text. These rules make changes to your text according to the selected formatting and spelling conventions.
Team admins and single-license holders can create lists of style rules, they selected or specified via free text prompts.

Available languages
Style rules are currently available for the following languages:
- Chinese

- Italian
- Japanese

- Spanish
Available platforms
Style rules can be used on DeepL Translator and Write on web and in the desktop apps.
The option to create and edit style rules is available on the DeepL website via Style rules in the navigation bar.
Style rules are supported for both text translations and file translations.
Limits
When creating a list of style rules, you can select an unlimited amount of pre-defined rules and 200 free text rules to be active per list at the same time. There is no limit to the number of style rule lists that can be created.
