Is it possible to perform an unattended/silent installation of the DeepL desktop app?
Yes, this is possible for the DeepL app for Windows.
You can download our regular DeepLSetup.exe installer and run it with the --silent command-line argument to perform an unattended installation.
If you wish to run the installer without downloading additional files during the setup, run DeepLSetup.exe once with the --prepare-offline command-line argument. This will place all files required for an offline installation into a new directory named content next to DeepLSetup.exe.
When this directory is present running DeepLSetup.exe normally or with --silent it will perform the installation without downloading additional files.
If you use SCCM/InTune to automatically distribute the app, you can use the presence of the following registry key as the "Detection Method":
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\https%3a##appdownload.deepl.com#windows#0install#deepl.xml
