Can I save text translations in my mobile app?
Yes, you can save text translations as Favorites to access and reuse them anytime, even offline. To use this feature, you need either a DeepL account or a DeepL Pro subscription.
Users with a DeepL account can save up to 15 translations as Favorites. DeepL Pro users can save an unlimited number of translations.
Favorites on iOS
Save a translation
You can access your saved translations by tapping Saved at the bottom of the screen. Then, go to Favorites to view your saved translations.
Your saved translations are displayed in reverse chronological order: the most recent translations are displayed at the top.
- Tap Saved at the bottom of the screen
- Go to Favorites
- Tap the saved translation that you want to edit. The translation will open in the Translate view.
- You can now make changes to both the source and target text
- Tap the Save icon to save the edited translation as a new Favorite. Once saved, the Save icon will change color
- Tap Saved at the bottom of the screen
- Go to Favorites
- Tap the filled out Save icon next to the saved translation that you want to delete
- Tap Delete to confirm
Please note that your translations are stored locally on your device. You can't access them on another device.

How to save a translation

Edit a saved translation
- Tap Saved at the bottom of the screen
- Go to Favorites
- Tap the saved translation that you want to edit. The translation will open in the Translate view

Delete a saved translation
- Tap Saved at the bottom of the screen
- Go to Favorites
- Tap the trash icon next to the saved translation
