Can I save text translations in my mobile app?
For iOS
Yes, both free users and DeepL Pro users can save as many translations as they like and reuse them later. Saved translations will be displayed under Favorites.
To save a translation:
- Select the languages for your translation.
- Type or paste the text which you'd like to translate.
- Tap the Save icon
displayed in the top-right corner of the target text area. Once the translation is saved, the Save icon will be filled in 
.
You can access your saved translations by tapping Favorites at the bottom of the screen.
Your saved translations are displayed in reverse chronological order: the newest translations are displayed at the top.
Above each saved translation, the source language and the target language are indicated. You can save translations for each language pair available in the app.
To edit a saved translation:
- Tap Favorites at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the saved translation that you would like to edit. The source text and the target text will be entered in the respective areas in the Translate view.
- Edit the source text. The translation will be changed accordingly.
- Save the edited source text and the corresponding translation by tapping the Save icon . A new pair will be saved under Favorites. Once saved, the Save icon will be filled in .
To delete a saved translation:
- Tap Favorites at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Edit in the top-right corner of the app.
- Tap the Remove icon
displayed in front of the saved translation which you'd like to delete. - Tap Delete to confirm the deletion.
Please note that since your translations are stored locally on your device, you can't access them on another device.
