Can I select a keyboard shortcut other than Ctrl+C / ⌘C?
Yes. It is possible to set a custom shortcut in the DeepL for Windows / DeepL for Mac app.
For Windows:
You can set any shortcut. You can do so in the DeepL for Windows settings, under the heading DeepL Shortcut. To set your shortcut, your combination must include a modifier key (Ctrl) and an alphanumeric key (character, digit, or spacebar).
Once you have made these changes, all you’ll need to do to translate with DeepL for Windows is select the text and press the combination you defined.
For Mac:
You can set any shortcut. You can do so in the DeepL for Mac preferences. Under the General settings, you’ll see the heading DeepL Shortcut. To set your shortcut, your combination must include a modifier key (⌘/Ctrl/Option/Shift) and an alphanumeric key (character, digit, or spacebar).
Once you have made these changes, all you’ll need to do to translate with DeepL for Mac is select the text and press the combination you defined.
