It is possible for a DeepL account to have more than one subscription by enabling the subscription management by group feature. Currently, this can only be enabled by your DeepL Account Executive or your Customer Success Manager. Once the feature is enabled, team admins manage groups and users. For more information on subscription management by group, see this article.
When you add users to a group, they are assigned a license from the linked subscription based on availability.
Add individual users to groups
There are several ways to add users to groups and provide them with a license of the linked subscription(s).
- Go to the Groups tab in your DeepL account
- Click Add users next to the group you want to add users to
-
Add individual or multiple users by entering their email addresses (if you add several email addresses, make sure to separate them with a comma)
Alternatively, you can do the following.
- Go to the Users tab in your DeepL account
- Click Add users
- Select the group you want to add the users to
- Add individual or multiple users by entering their email addresses (if you add several email addresses, make sure to separate them with a comma)
If your team members log in to DeepL with their email and password and they're not part of your team yet, they will receive an invitation email they need to accept.
If a team member is already part of another group or has been part of a group in the past, they will be added to the group immediately. The same applies if your team members log in to DeepL with SSO and group sync is disabled.
Add multiple users to groups
- Go to the Users tab in your DeepL account
- Select the users you wish to add to groups from the list
- Click on More, then Update groups
- Select the groups you wish to add users to in the drop down menu Add to groups
Or
Select the groups you wish to remove users from in the drop down menu Remove from groups - Confirm your selection
You can only add and remove multiple users if the users are already part of the team. You can only add users to groups that already exist.

You can bulk delete several users at once by doing the following:

- Role: shows only users who have a specific role (e.g. admin)
- Status: shows users by status: Active, Inactive and Invited

The option to export a list of all users may become inactive for a short period of time after it has been used.
