DeepL Voice for Microsoft Teams allows all meeting participants to speak, and read captions, in their chosen language.
You don't need a license to access meeting translation, but a license holder must enable translation for everyone first.
There are two ways to access the DeepL Voice app:

Access meeting translation via Microsoft app
Access the DeepL Voice app inside your Microsoft Teams meeting via the Apps feature. -
Access meeting translation via DeepL Voice browser window
If you can't access Apps in the Microsoft Teams meeting, you can connect a separate browser window to your Microsoft Teams meeting.
Access meeting translation via Microsoft app
To access the DeepL Voice app within your Microsoft Teams meeting, ensure you are logged in to your Microsoft Teams account.
Once a DeepL Voice for Meetings license holder has invited and admitted the bot to the meeting, the DeepL Voice app will appear in the meeting toolbar.
- Click the DeepL Voice app
- Click Log in and enter your credentials to log in

Access meeting translation via DeepL Voice browser window
If you can't see the DeepL Voice app in the Microsoft Teams meeting toolbar, you can connect a separate browser window to your Microsoft Teams meeting. This provides access to the same translation functionality as using the Microsoft app within the meeting.
Once the DeepL Voice bot has joined a meeting and translation has started, a link is posted in the meeting chat.
- Click Chat in the meeting toolbar
- Follow the Open DeepL Voice link

If you don't see a link, ask the meeting host to resend a link to the meeting chat - Follow the on-screen instructions to connect DeepL Voice to your Microsoft Teams meeting
Start translation
- Select your spoken and caption language
- Click Start translation to access meeting translations
- Click the floating window icon
to access overlay translations
- Click the cog icon
to access translation and transcription settings
Individual settings
Access Settings by clicking the cog icon in the DeepL Voice app panel.
