As an IT admin you can enforce the login to DeepL for your team to prevent team members from using DeepL without being logged in, and to ensure that your team members benefit from the data security of DeepL Pro.
We provide the following options to enforce login to the DeepL web service (https://www.deepl.com):
- Deploy the DeepL Browser extensions with the configuration that requires login (recommended)
- Network blocker (use only if the DeepL browser extension isn't an option)
Deploy the DeepL browser extension
As an IT admin you can deploy the DeepL browser extension and configure additional policies to control anonymous access to DeepL and enforce login for your team members.
Network blocker
As an IT admin you can enforce the login to DeepL within your corporate network in blocking the endpoints of the free version of DeepL.
Deploy DeepL desktop and mobile apps
Once you've deployed the DeepL browser extensions with enforced login or blocked the free endpoints for the DeepL web service, we recommend that you set up enforced login for the following applications and clients if you use them in your organization.
- Deploy DeepL mobile apps via MDM software
- Configure DeepL for Windows app as admin
- Configure the DeepL for Windows app via Intune
