As a team admin you have two options to block access to the free version of DeepL.

Enforce login when users are not logged in.
Reach out to DeepL to set this up for your team. - Block access to the free version of DeepL when users are logged in with their companies DeepL Pro account and don’t have a license.
In case your logged in users don’t have a license, you can decide if you want to provide access to the free version of DeepL or if you want to block free access.
Block access to the free version of DeepL
If you are a team admin, you can block access to the free version of DeepL for users that don’t have a license. On default, free access is disabled.
- Go to the Settings tab in your account, scroll down to the Security section
- Select Disable next to DeepL Write (free version) and/or DeepL Translator (free version)
Allow access to the free version of DeepL
If you are a team admin, you can allow access to the free version of DeepL for users that don’t have a license. On default, free access is disabled.
- Go to the Settings tab in your account, scroll down to the Security section
- Select Enable next to DeepL Write (free version) and/or DeepL Translator (free version)
Manage access with subscription management by groups enabled
If subscription management by groups is enabled for your team, ensure that your default group doesn't have any subscriptions associated with it.
- Go to the tab Groups
- Select the default group and click Edit
- Remove all subscriptions from the default group
If users try to log in and there are no available licenses in their assigned groups, or they are not part of a group with an active subscription, they will see an Access Denied message for any blocked product.
