Overview
In the DeepL for Windows app, there is currently no default option to translate multiple files at the same time. To translate multiple files at once, you need to switch to the old file translation feature. This option is only available for users with a DeepL account.
The old file translation version includes the following additional features:
- Translating multiple files at the same time
- File translation history
The default new file translation version includes the following additional features:
- Edit mode for file translation
- Downloading a PDF file as .docx or .pdf file
You can switch between the two version in your DeepL for Windows app.
Note: In the DeepL for Mac app translating multiple files at once and the file translation history are available by default. It is not possible to switch between the file translation version on Mac. All features included in the new file translation are not available on Mac, yet.
