You can edit the text of the translated file directly in the right text field. Please note that you can't edit the original text of your file in this mode.
When editing your translation, you can also use the alternatives feature to view alternative translations by clicking a word. A drop-down menu will open with possible alternative translations for the selected word.
At the bottom of the source text field, next to the file name, you'll find an Undo/Redo option. By clicking the arrow on the left , you can undo any changes made to the translated text. Alternatively, you can press the shortcut ⌘+Z on Mac or Ctrl+Z on Windows.
With the arrow on the right, you can redo those changes. Alternatively, you can press the shortcut ⌘+Shift+Z on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+Z on Windows.
Once you've finished editing your translation, you can click the Get download button at the bottom of the target text area to download your freshly edited file. Your edits will be saved and the translated file will be updated automatically.
If you'd like to download the file without your edits, click on the arrow next to the get download button. Here, you can choose whether you'd like to download the file with or without your edits.
To exit the edit mode without downloading the file, click on Discard at the bottom of the target text area. A dialog will appear asking you to confirm your choice. Please note that if you choose to discard, your edits won't be saved. The translation of your uploaded file will also not be available anymore.
Important: even if you leave the edit mode without downloading the file, your document translation counter will go up by one.
