Can I edit my translated document before downloading it?
Yes, with the edit mode for document translation, you can make changes to your translated file before downloading it.
This article covers the following topics which will help you learn more about the edit mode:
Availability of the edit mode
This feature is currently only available in our web translator. It's not supported for our desktop apps.
The edit mode for document translation is available exclusively for DeepL Pro subscribers (Starter/Advanced/Ultimate). Users of our free version as well as users with an API subscription won't be able to use this feature.
Note: This feature is a beta version, and we are constantly working on improving it. We are rolling it out gradually and it might not yet be available for all DeepL Pro users.
The edit mode can be used for all file types supported by our document translation feature. Please note that the supported file types may vary depending on your subscription type. For more information, read this article on document formats.
